Why Francuski Instytut Gospodarki Polska?
This is the most frequently asked question. It all began in the early 1990’s. The beginning of the history of the Francuski Instytut Gospodarki Polska is inextricably linked to the changes that have taken place in the Polish economy in the last decade of the 20th century.
The 1990’s are a crazy time of rapid ups and downs. Many people associate it with dynamic business development, the first fortune and brilliant careers. It is also a period of dynamic entry on the Polish market of foreign enterprises discovering the Polish market.

In 1989, as part of supporting changes in the Polish economy, the then French government allocated a large subsidy to the development of managerial education – so necessary in the new market economy.
The implementation of the five-year educational program was entrusted to IFG – Institut Francais de Gestion (in Poland – Francuski Instytut Zarządzania) – a renowned Parisian school that runs courses and trainings for managerial staff in several European countries.
The project turned out to be a huge success thanks to excellent programs developed in cooperation with INSEAD by several experienced business practitioners, graduates of renowned Western universities, who at the same time undertook to conduct classes in Polish.
In parallel with educational activities, in response to the emerging needs of management boards in the field of strategic consulting services, improvement of efficiency and finance, a group of enthusiasts conducting classes at IFG launched a separate business activity, which became the foundation of the current company.
With the end of the government educational program in Poland in 1996, the current legal form of the company like Francuski Instytut Gospodarki Polska, was created, which combines strategic consulting with educational activities for TOP Management.
